Peer Leadership & Supervision Training

This Peer Leadership and Supervision Training is a dedicated program designed to provide individuals with essential skills and knowledge to effectively support peers. This training was developed in line with national standards and assumes that participants have a working knowledge of peer work. It was designed by peer supervisors with personal lived/living experience for current or aspiring peer supervisors with personal lived/living experience. However, individuals who supervise peers but do not identify as having personal lived/living experience should be able to gain new knowledge and skills as well.

In addition to the 15 hours of training, participants will also have access to post-training Collaborative Forums. These forums are an opportunity to network, problem-solve, and share successes with a community of peers.

One recent participant shared, “There is very valuable information in this training and should be given to peer supervisors within 4 weeks of taking the role. I also feel that those that are in supervisor roles already and have not taken this training should.”
